About Northwest Industrial & Foundry

We pledge to develop and nurture a partnership by advocating and demonstrating technology and process control. It will always be our principal objective with products we promote to provide you, our customers, with quality products, service and competitive pricing while maintaining the highest ethical business standards.

Northwest Industrial & Foundry Supply was originally known as RA Barns, named after its owner, who supplied equipment and materials to the foundry industry. In 1990, the company changed ownership and its name. In 1992, Dave Sutter purchased a large share of the company and established the company mission set forth above.

Prior to joining Northwest Industrial & Foundry Supply, Dave managed two iron foundries, owned a non-ferrous foundry, and is active in the American Foundry Society (AFS). A veteran in the industry, Dave had a clear goal to bring quality products combined with hands-on knowledge and unmatched technical service to his customers.

In 1996, Dave purchased the remaining shares of Northwest Industrial & Foundry Supply, and hired Leigh Hennis to his team one year later. Leigh had previously managed three steel foundries, and is also an active member of the AFS. This same year John Worley was hired on to manage the warehouse and customer deliveries. Assisting John with receiving and shipping is Nate Kennedy, who has 50 years in the foundry industry.

Recognizing the company’s need for a central office coordinator to better service sales and customer requests, Dave hired Terry White in 2001 as his Office Manager. Terry has been able to utilize her 14 years of experience in the military and her computer and software skills to ensure no order, quote or request for information falls through the cracks. Elden Williams with a strong background in project management was hired in 2006 to assist with customer support.

Jesse Larson is the latest addition to the sales staff, bringing a wealth of mechanical and electrical engineering skills to the table. With his strong ability to problem solve, and prior skill-set, Jesse has brought an indispensable energy and enthusiasm to the industry.
